Origin of Names and Packs

This was a very nice cracker line made by National Biscuit Company in America.  When they bought Pyotts in Port Elizabeth they manufactured and marketed this particular line.

I was surprised when Nabisco withdrew from South Africa to find that Pyotts were still making the line and I presume that the rights had been sold outright to the company for use in this country.  I do not know how the name originated.
